Welcome to KineSentry. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("App").

1. Information We Collect

When you use our App, we only collect the information strictly necessary to operate the monitoring service:

• Camera and Microphone Data: Our App securely accesses your device's camera and microphone to enable primary monitoring functionalities. In Detector Mode, the camera is used strictly to capture discrete, device-encrypted photographic images upon detecting motion (no video is recorded or stored). In Stealth Mode, the microphone is used for real-time peer-to-peer audio streaming, which is never stored on our servers.
• Location Data: When utilizing Stealth Mode, the App accesses your device's GPS to transmit real-time location coordinates to your monitoring device. This data is transmitted securely and is never permanently logged.
• Authentication Data: Information such as Google or Apple login credentials to create and manage your account securely.

2. How We Use Your Information

Because KineSentry utilizes a Zero-Knowledge Architecture, our use of your information is strictly limited to facilitating the application's core functions:

• To establish secure, direct peer-to-peer connections between your monitoring device and your tracker device.
• To temporarily relay encrypted photographic evidence and connection data through our secure infrastructure until it is automatically purged by our cleanup systems.
• To manage your secure authentication profile and active subscription status.
• To send critical push notifications when motion is detected or a battery runs critically low.

3. Zero-Knowledge Security & Data Retention

Your absolute privacy is the foundation of our app. We utilize a strict Zero-Knowledge Architecture and End-to-End Encryption to ensure that your sensitive monitoring data belongs exclusively to you.

• Stealth Mode: All live audio streams and GPS coordinates are encrypted natively on your device. Your live audio feeds flow directly from device to device and are never stored on our servers.
• Detector Mode: Any photographic evidence captured during a motion alarm is mathematically sealed using an AES-256 encryption key that only exists on your physical devices. It is mathematically impossible for our developers, our server administrators, or Google to view your images.

Data Retention: Even though we are completely blind to your encrypted data, we believe in minimizing our digital footprint. We enforce strict, automated cleanup policies across all app modes:

• Standard Cleanup: In both Detector Mode and Stealth Mode, all session history, connection metadata, and encrypted images are permanently wiped 24 hours after the session is explicitly stopped.
• Abandoned Session Sweep: If a device loses internet connection, powers off, or is abandoned without explicitly stopping the session, our servers automatically purge the orphaned session data after 48 hours of inactivity.

4. Third-Party Services

To deliver robust and reliable monitoring, our App utilizes select third-party infrastructure:

• Authentication & Cloud Infrastructure: Utilized for secure login, connection routing, and temporary secure storage of encrypted evidence.
• Mapping Services: Utilized exclusively in Stealth Mode to display the real-time GPS coordinates of your tracker device on an interactive map.
• Secure Relay Servers: We operate secure fallback network relays to guarantee audio connectivity on strict networks. These servers simply forward encrypted packets and log absolutely no audio data.
• Subscription Management: Utilized to securely process and manage your active subscriptions and in-app purchases.

These services have their own Privacy Policies addressing how they handle such information.

5. Your Privacy Rights & Account Deletion

You have absolute control over your account. Because our servers automatically purge all session data within 24 to 48 hours, we retain almost no historical data on you. However, you maintain the right to instantly and permanently delete your entire account, including your authentication profile and any active session data, directly within the App's settings menu at any time.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this policy periodically.
